I was born and raised in Fairfield, CA, until about the age of 9, when my parents moved me, my little brother, and a couple of pets, up to South Lake Tahoe. It's in Tahoe where I'd meet some of my closest friends, learn to snowboard, and first try my hand at playing the guitar. I would stay up late in the night learning anything and everything from metal to modern pop. Over the next couple of years I would find myself drawn to the likes of singer-songwriters like Paul Simon, Jim Croce, Cat Stevens, and, of course, The Beatles. It was during this time I began writing my own music and recording very low quality demos in my parents' office on their old desktop.
